ByteHoard started in 2003 as a college project by Andrew Godwin for storing, managing, and sharing files. After many iterations ByteHoard found it self into a stable version with asperations for more. Andrew had to cut back from development in order to allocate more time to his personal life and the project sat for a while.
Bytehoard is now under new development with a focus of taking the simple software Andrew started and molding it into a professional file management suite for both the amture and the professional enviroment. The new developer Mike has taken up management of the web site and the source code for the ByteHoard project. As of June 2009 software development has been rekindled and of course the web page is starting to grow with content.
The ByteHoard web site is aspired to be a central point of managing the community which has formed around the ByteHoard software. A place where people can exchange idea’s and encourage innovation. A community formed around providing support to the users of ByteHoard.
