以下是添加 DASD 卷的例子:

使用 cd 命令把 /sys/ 的目录变为代表那个卷的目录。

# cd /sys/bus/ccw/drivers/dasd-eckd/0.0.4b2e/
# ls -l

在所看到的例子中,设备 4B2E 正在被当做 /dev/dasdb 来被访问。

使用 cd 命令回到 /root 目录并格式化这个设备。

# cd
# dasdfmt -b 4096 -d cdl -f /dev/dasdb -l LX4B2E -p -y

当格式化完成后,使用 fdasd 为设备分区:

# fdasd -a /dev/dasdb

接下来,在新的分区上建一个文件系统。

This filesystem will be automatically checked every 39 mounts or
180 days, whichever comes first.  Use tune2fs -c or -i to override.

挂载新文件系统:

# mount /dev/dasdb1 /opt
# mount
/dev/dasda1 on / type ext3 (rw)
none on /proc type proc (rw)
none on /sys type sysfs (rw)
none on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,gid=5,mode=620)
none on /dev/shm type tmpfs (rw)
/dev/dasdb1 on /opt type ext3 (rw)

/etc/fstab 中添加项目,因此该文件系统在 IPL 时被挂载:

# vi /etc/fstab
# cat /etc/fstab

把设备作为 dasd_mod 加入到 /etc/modprobe.conf 的选项行。确保把这个新设备加到了列表的最后,否则 device number : devnode 的映像将被改变,文件系统将不会在它们过去所在的设备上

# vi /etc/modprobe.conf
# cat /etc/modprobe.conf
alias eth0 qeth
options dasd_mod dasd=201,4B2E

再次运行 mkinitrd 命令保存对 modprobe.conf 的改变。当下一次 IPL 时这个设备可以被在线并被挂载。

注意:为了方便阅读,以下的例子已经做了小小的改动。每一个以"(elf64-s390)" 结尾的行都应被看成一行(中间没有空格)。例如/tmp/initrd.AR1182/lib/dasd_mod.ko(elf64-s390)

# cd /boot
